Denis joins TMRC with over eleven years of treasury and financial markets experience built within Tanzania's banking sector, spanning fixed income, asset and liability management, capital markets, and regulatory reporting, at Exim Bank, TIB Corporate Bank and Tanzania Commercial Bank. His work has also included advisory engagements in the public sector and building relationships across interbank, institutional and development finance counterparties.
In this role he will lead the mobilisation of long-term funding through the capital markets and development finance partners, oversee the company's investment portfolio and balance sheet management, and work alongside member institutions to widen access to affordable mortgage finance in Tanzania.
Denis holds an MBA from ESAMI and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from Ardhi University. He is an Associate Certified Public Accountant (NBAA) and holds the ACI Dealing Certificate, the Securities Industry Certification Course, and the CFA Institute's Sustainable Investing Certificate.
