Mr. Kamwela is the current Chief Executive Officer of First Housing Finance Tanzania Limited. He possesses a deep understanding of the financial landscape and has a reputation for strategic thinking, fostering innovation and effective leadership. He has worked with several banks before joining First Housing Finance Tanzania Limited including Absa bank Tanzania as a Business analyst, Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania as a Finance Manager, I&M bank as a Head of Finance. He joined First Housing Finance Tanzania Limited as Chief Finance Officer and later promoted to a Chief Executive Office role in May 2024.
He is an Associate Certified Public Accountant (ACPA (T)). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (Hons.) from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Masters of Business Administration from Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI.
